Ok, my hard drive is nearly backed up. I am ready to wipe it and start fresh. So I am all set there.

In my aggressive effort to remove the hard drive though, I operated under the assumption that I had to do a full teardown to get to the hard drive, so I removed the multimedia button pad, keyboard, etc...

All is fine except for teh fact that in removign the keyboard, I accidentally unplugged the ribbon cable. When it came out, it left a little piece of plastic stil attached to the motherboard. Now, should this piece of plastic be attached to teh cable, or is the cable merely supposed to be naked?

Seems like an easy fix once I comprehend how it should look.

***EDIT***
It certainly was easy. Once I comprehended the way the connector worked, took 3 minutes to fix.
