hello there, i saw this internet auction selling this P4 1.7ghz laptop for like $1.50 "reserved!!!" and nobody's even taking it.

THe problem with it is, its graphics card is gone, and i was wondering if anybody here knew anything about putting graphics hardware in a laptop.

Do you guys have any brand names??(nvidea etc)

btw- i know how to put together a desktop i was just wondering if would be able to fix it up my self seeing as i have never even touched a laptop-

ps- are laptop graphics cards and desktop cards th same?

The graphics card is totally different. Most are integrated on the motherboard while the some mid to highend laptops have upgradeable graphics.

Its most likely is onboard.

avoid at all costs me thinks no wonder people have not put bids on it, the only reason to buy is if you really want the hassle of taking it apart.
