I own a HP Pavilion zv6000. It's a hefty laptop.

However, whenever I'm using it for just web surfing and what not, the fan seems a little loud. Nothing more than loading webpages, that's it.

Is there anyway I can reduce the fan noise, since it shouldn't be overheating because I'm not running out any intensive programs. Before, it used to be able to run quietly while doing non-intensive processes, but now it seems a little louder than usual.

My Computer Specs:

You would have to replace the fan attached to the heatsink. You have to check what type of fan is in place so you no what to replace it with.

So, in order to reduce the fan noise, I would have to get a quieter and compatible fan for my laptop?
