I am new to all of this. Please forgive me if this is one of the "redundant" questions. My husband is the technical one, but he is military and deployed for a year----so I'm on my own. I have an IBM Thinkpad A22m. The problem has been intermittant, but now it is constant. I have it plugged into the a/c power supply, and it works, but the battery says 0%(charging). Problem is, it never gets above 0%. Like I said, this problem happened on and off, but seemed to fix itself with a reboot or taking the battery out. However, now it is constant and nothing seems to fix it. It is a pain, cuz if the cord falls out, my computer shuts off. Can anyone help me please? Thank you! Lori

Keyword; "Just".

Laptop batteries are pretty frickin' expensive, I don't think he'd want to replace it unless he KNOWS it's the battery. Could be the adapter, or the laptop itsself, too.
