Hey Techist Community,
I was wondering if you guys could help shed some light on this issue since it's been puzzling me for a couple of days now.
I recently bought a new wireless router which is wirelessly bridged with my Router/Modem downstairs, all setup fine on my laptop it shows 60 down and 15 up through the ethernet cable, excellent stuff.
However on my desktop PC, using the SAME ethernet cable, I get 60 down but zilch upload, on speedtest.net the upload doesn't even start to test it.
OS: Windows 7 64-bit Professional
Ethernet Driver Installed: Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Downloaded latest version from the MSI website earlier)
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Socket 1150 HDMI D-Sub DVI 8-Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
So ye, laptop gets 60 down and 15 up, then using same cable and not moving the router whatsoever, I put it in my desktop PC and I get 60 down and zero up.
I believe this is a hardware issue which Is why I posted it here but if I've posted in the wrong section then please accept my apology.
