Lacie Biggest F800: Raid Failure Code 2

Hi everyone,

I use a Lacie Biggest F800 for my business and I just am now getting a problem with it. It is beeping and giving me a message that says:

RAID Failure
Code 2

Does anyone have any information on what a code 2 is or means? Is it treatable or fixable? I really hope someone can help me as this is an essential piece of equipment for my business and replacing it would be the worse case scenario. Help!

Hello,

I would backup your data right away. It sounds as if one of the drives is dying. Either that or the RAID Array is failing.

Backup the data ASAP so you can check the array to make sure that it is running properly.
