Default labtop

i just fiinshed upgrading my os but now the screen on my monitor does not fill it up all the way is right in t he middle how come it's not filling up my whole screen

Update video drivers for the laptop.

Maybe the laptop is too old for XP?

try changing your resolution,
E6300 Core 2 Duo

in the BIOS there will be an option to set whether lower resolutions are stretched to fill the screen or not. turn that on.

also, you should be really running it at the tft's native resolution.
