Default Keyboard in wrong format

Recently reformatted my laptop, keys are all in the wrong place. @ is swapped with " and #, | and I cant even find the pound sign.

I take it this is American format, but how do I change it. Arghh

go to the language toolbar and add the UK keyboard input and delete the american one, you will need to log out then in again for it to take effect

Incase you haven't done this already, little blue men pop out from inbetween the keys, pick them up, and move them about

Thanks for the quick fix

It gets to the point where you go back on an english system and have to learn all the keys again
