I'm using an Avira boot disk to rid my drives of a boot virus. It boots, prompts for E or G (English or German), and my keyboard (Logitech wireless) does not work. I also created a boot disk with Nero, same thing. It loads up but no response at the command prompt.

The keyboard works for the BIOS program on my Gigabyte MB.

Help

Thanks

JB

The Avira Boot Disk might not have the appropriate drivers to run a wireless keyboard. You may have to run a wired keyboard.

Also, since it is wireless, I am assuming it is USB. If so, check your BIOS and look for an option labeled Keyboard Type or something similiar and make sure it is set to USB and not PS/2.
