Keyboard Shorts Out

Every now and then, my keyboard will short out. It will stop working for about 3-5 seconds and then when it turns back on the Caps and Scroll green buttons above the Numpad will flash on and off. I can use it after that. The keyboard wire is plugged in, and I know it that is it not falling out. I got the keyboard from Ibuypower, could it just be a bad keyboard? It happens to me 5-10 times a day and its really annoying.

Try another keyboard to see if the problem persists. If it is a usb one try a different usb slot. Most likely a bad keyboard.

You could get a new keyboard, unless it's a expensive one, just get a new one.

If it's still under warranty, you could send it to the manufacturer.
