Keyboard key problem

Hello. I have a key that wants to type a character when the shift key is ènotè depressed. Thatès the key. I want the quotes not the letter e.

Did you check if your keyboard settings & language input is set to English?

Thanks for the fix. Seems like I hit the "Windows Key" and then space bar. That causes a switch. Not exactly a 'clear program' to follow with what info the computer is displaying..but works nonetheless.
