Keyboard issue...very strange!

I have never had this issue or heard of anyone having this issue before, but everytime I restart my computer, my keyboard is no longer detected by the USB port it is plugged into. I have to switch to another USB port, and reinstall all the USB Human Interface Devices, and other random devices related to the keyboard everytime I restart.

Also, any previous USB slots that have been through a restart with the keyboard attached is no longer recognized by the keyboard, so every restart i have to find a unused USB slot...and I dont have very many of those.

now i'm stuck between fixing this issue, or leaving my computer on forever.

Anyone know wuts going on?

So are you saying that everytime you turn off, you must use different slot?
Here are some options

Option 1: Get a PS/2 Keyboard
Option 2: Take your comp. to a specialist and get them to look at USB ports
