Default Key repeating on keyboard

Help,

I have an HP Omnibook XE4100. With windows XP installed. For some reason a key or key function
on the laptop keyboard is repeating constantly. Its like this ````````````````

I ve looked on some sites and have had little or no luck at all. Anyone know what I can do
to stop this from happening? Do I now have to part with cash to fix the repeating key?

Thanks

its a laptop i think, he can't just buy a new keyboard. canned air sounds like the best option. does the key feel any different when you strike it?

Hi again

The laptop is working fine now. I just shoke some dust off the thing and the keyboard is working fine now. So it must have been some particle stuck behind the laptop keyboard.

Thanks
