To make this explination short, when I turn on my computer nothing comes up on the screen. Why is this?

there could be any number of reasons. have you tried anything to rectify it? if so then post what it was and ANY results. can you give any more description of how the computer acts when you hit the power, or how and when the problem started.

Well I just got this computer for free cause it is old and had something wrong with it so I don't know when this problem started.
As for how it acts when I reboot it, it makes a beeping noise, two beeps in a row right away, sometimes three times. Then it sounds fine. But nothing shows up on my screen

could you try and find out the motherboard model or at least the manufacturer. the beeps are a code but we need to have an idea about what the motherboard is before we can say what it means.
