Issue, unsure where it falls.

I have pent 4 3.2ghz Windows Xp OS comp. Just last night my comp froze so I had to hard shut down. When I started it back up on the pentium 4 screen (its the screen BEFORE XP starts to load) dunno if anyone else has this, but my comp will stay on this screen for 10-15+ minutes then load xp and etc. It has never done this before, what could be the problem?

hmm... i think i know what you mean - sometimes my screen just sits on the "gateway" screen. what i do is power it off - then wait like 20 secs, and back on and that works...

not sure what to tell u. try leaving it off for a little while then turning it back on.
