Default Irql_not_less_or_equal

Okay, so for the past two weeks I have been getting blue screens of death that say IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL with lots of text that says "Memory Dumps" and the like down at the bottom. So, even while my computer is just sitting there with NO activity, the PC shuts down after a BSOD. Oh, and sometimes when I try to start my PC, it just beeps and beeps and beeps and will NOT start up, so I have to restart and try again.

Heeeeelp!!!

In most cases, Windows 2000 is the same as XP in technical situations. After all, Windows XP & Windows 2000 are both just versions of Windows NT.
