IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
I keep getting this **** message when trying to install windows xp pro. I am installing onto a free partition of 5Gb, the rest of the disk has stuff on it. I have taken out all hardware except for my video card (I have swapped it too, its not the problem) and my keyboard. Halfway through the installation, the computer just restarts, or displays the blue screen with the above message. Sometimes its also
DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
and I think it may have said something else in the past. Anyway it used to happen a little bit, then it got worse, now it happens everytime, and I can't even install an operating system!! I reset the CMOS, but that didn't help. My comp:
AMD Athalon 2100+ @ 1.74GHz
VIA KT333 Motherboard
The only other hardware I can think of is my 2 cd drives. Maybe I damaged an IC or something. Does anyone know whats wrong??
