So..
I try to boot up my computer this morning and I get "invalid or damaged boot parition."

What should I do?
I have used the XP cd and tried "fixboot" to no avail...

It was working perfectly fine at 3 in the morning this morning
:/

Any help is appreciated!

Here is an important question to help you through the troubleshooting process:

Do you have another computer (Same OS preferred) to work with? If so, do you have an available SATA or PATA slot (cable) to be able to, in theory, pull out the drive and work with it as a slave on another computer?

I THINK I know what you mean..

But im not exactly sure..
Yes, the computer im on right now is Win XP .
Not sure if I have any cables though..

I had sort of the same problem with mine. I got a program called G-Disk and it totally cleared the HD. After that I just reloaded WinXP and it has been working great ever since.
