Interpreting CHKDSK results...help...

Due to too many "random shutdowns" I reinstalled Win XP Pro (clean install, formating the C drive). Ran into some problems with the installation...after the 3rd try it is now stable.


Right after the last install, I ran a CHKDSK from the XP CD "recovery console"and it said:

"1 or more errors found on volume". But no details about the erros, just free space & allocation units on disk...

Is my hard drive bad??

run it with the fix errors switch, that way it will rix the errors rather than just reporting them ;-)
