i'd go with an intel q6600, by the looks of your old computer u like to keep ur comp fairly lon before getting another one. so getting a quadcore will be better in the long run.

Intel, because I have an amd and an Intel computer, and the Intel seems to be doing a greater job than amd.

sup, im new to these forums and a friend told me there pretty good and help alot and i was wonderin exactly how good would this Google Image Result for http://images.dailytech.com/nimage/3104_large_4x4_1.jpg
with two of these
Newegg.com - AMD Athlon 64 FX-74 Windsor 3.0GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket F (1207 FX) 125W Dual-Core Processor - Retail

like ive been hearin intel's quad is way better then amd but since ive gotten so many different answers , u kinda get doubtful of wat to believe O_O lol
