Default Installing Vista. Need help!

Alright so I'm installing Vista right now, well it says it's "collecting information." I'm stuck at one part.

Well it says insert the drivers for the CD/DVD ROM. And I insert the only CD that came with the rom, it says like Nero on it.

Then I search for drivers on the CD and it says none could be found.

What do I do?

Can you skip it? cause win obviously knows how to use the drive.

Well it says it needs the drivers to determine where Windows will be installed...

Know what that means?

Try the driver disk that comes with the motherboard not the rom. It's looking for the ide or sata controller driver.

I put in my mobo cd and it says none of the drivers were compatible with the hardware I have...

It looks like they are all AMD

You'll have to browse thru the cd to the correct folder. I'm about to shutdown my PC for the night, but if you'll post the make and model of your mobo someone will point you to a driver you can download

Well I'm not sure how I would download a driver because the computer doesn't have an operating system atm. And the computer I am on now is a mac.

But it is a ASRock p55 Extreme

Do I need to generate Serial ATA Driver diskette?

I don't have a floppy drive though...
