Default Installing new memory need advise

Hi, Im building my first computer(yes, im a noob ). I bought 2 512Mb DDR2/800 memories this week for my new Asus P5N32-SLI-Deluxe board. After reading the motherboard user guide "Carefully" I found out the the board only support DDR2 533/667Mhz memories. Just wondering can i keep using the 800MHz(will this do any harm to the motherboard???) or should I replace its with 533/667 as the user guide specify? Thanx for the help!
