u can either check on the bottom of your mobo for a manufacturs name and a mobo type under that, or u can download a freeware program called sandra or everest these will give u all the info about your pc

i mean like what am i lookign for numbers? words? sorry i am not sure how to figure out what is what?

go download cpuz run the program and it will tell you exactly what motherboard you have. Assuming you computer is up and running.
