Default I7 fits on asus m3a78-emh?

Hi guys do you know if you can put any of the i7 intel chips onto a asus m3a78-emh motherboard?

I have a quadcore phenom 9850 on a asus m3a78-emh motherboard and was wondering if I can just buy the i7 and swap out the amd phenom out of there?

No, AMD uses different socket then Intel all-together. You can't switch them out. You have to have a motherboard that supports the i7 socket (1136 or 1156 depending on which i7 you were thinking of) to use it.

PII 940 :: 5870 :: Rage powered
