Ste, how do yo get the CD to become bootable? I copied the file to a blank cd, but it will not boot. Vista does not let you format and make a bootable disk as MS wants you to use the Vista cd if you have problems.

You need to download a .ISO of memtest86+, that way all you do is burn the ISO file to a blank CD using Nero or Imgburn.

I have the ISO file, but I just copy and pasted. Must be my problem. Thanks

You have to burn the .iso file using a program.

If you have a flash drive you can also use that as a boot device.
