I think SSD isnt as fast as it could be

Keep in mind that max WEI rating is 7.9. As for speeds of SATA3 vs SATA6, I'm not sure if SSD's are hitting the limit that SATA3 can hit so I don't think switching it will do much, but nothing bad can happen if you do swap it.
 
Considering most 5400/7200 RPM drives struggle to reach anywhere near that rating i would say there is quite a momentous difference in drive speeds. SSD's can be rather unstable though and always remember to turn off defragmenting as to not damage the drives. and if you're board supports sata3 6gb/s its worth the money if you care that much about performance
