Default I need Chaintech VT1721 Driver (audio card)

Yep.. I have a 7.1 digital capable sound card that I need a driver for.. Google turns up a bunch of PITA driver sites...

Anyone have one they can link to? I've got my back up board up and operational, but I don't have any audio for some reason, even the on board set to AC97.

Oh, yes please.. XP64b.

I never got my activation email for one of the driver sites that HAS the driver I need.. I think it's a board, not one of those pain diver sites..

Are we talking about the av-710 using the vt1721 chipset? If so this thread has some info.
Chaintech AV-710 Driver?? - Club CDFreaks - Knowledge is Power

with a link to a generic driver.
VIA Arena

It shows vista 64bit compatibility but I do not see xp 64bit but worth a shot. It is a tricky one to find the proper drivers for.

Default It found the I need Chaintech VT1721 Driver (audio card)

It found the Envy 24 drivers and installed them, but when I retsarted the computer it just buzzed at me.. My onboard isn't working for some odd reason..

This is my back up board, and I've been shown yet AGAIN, how much I HATE ASUS BIOS!! There's almost NOTHING to work with! THe Gigabyte BIOS was incredible!!! The amount of features it had was almost discutsing!!
