I have an Asus that has a broken screen (works perfectly otherwise), and I have a samsung that needs a new motherboard. Do you think it is feasible to use parts from both machines to make one working machine? Any links would be helpful. Thanks!

Only if the screen from the Samsung is the exact same size as the Asus, and the connectors are the same.

Otherwise, no.

nine out of ten times, no, that won't work. Not only do they have to be the same size and use the same connection type, they have to be put together the same way. ie, screw holes, pin placements, etc etc.
