I can't my Screen with the dvd player. plz help!

Hello,

i have a LG L1915S screen and H&B DVD/DivX Player DX-3255.

I connected dvd player with my TV to change the setting to VGA so i can watch movie with my Screen. But when i connect the screen to dvd player i have this message "OUT OF SIGNAL". What i must do?

No signal or Out of range. If it says out of range then lower your resolution.
