I am having a problem with my ATI 4850.

I recently installed a ATI Radeon 4850 (512 MB Ram GDDR 3) in my computer to enjoy some of the newer games. I went to install WAR: DoW 2 and when I launched I got a message informing me I didn't have the graphical capacity to run it. I made sure to download all my driver and the latest Direct X, but I still have the problem. I probed further trying to use sites that test your system requirements for various games and it said my card had only 128 Ram, thus it couldn't run Dow 2. I was wondering if anyoe could help me.

AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core (Black Edition)
4 GB Ram
ATI 4850 Video Card
Windows Vista OS 64-Bit
580 W PSU

Any chance you are still using onboard graphics?

You monitor is connected to the gpu correct?

Yeah it sounds like you're still using onboard to me as well.

Go to Start>run>type "dxdiag" and then go to the display tab and look under the device section and see what you're pushing
