HP Pavilion dv6358se cannot unmute, mute is on constantly.

I have a HP Pavilion dv6358se. I cannot turn mute off. I followed the instructions to correct this on the HP Help forums site. They said to update the Bios. The Bios in my PC is dated 2007, the current Bios is dated 2010. I followed their procedure to install that Bios update which was SP48121.exe.

A Phoenix Secure WinFlash window opens, I click "Flash BIOS, and I get a Phoenix Secure WinFlash error message saying, " The Input File "BIOS.WPH" can not be found. A valid file name must be specified to continue.

Unfortunately HP Help forum did not have anything on this.

Can anyone help me with this?

I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP2

Are you able to select a file, or does it automatically just try and flash?

Edit: instead of BIOS.wph, try manually typing in: 30bbf2e.wph
