How to turn keyboard mouse off??

I have a Dell Latitude Laptop

I just want to know if i can turn the mouse off in the center of the keyboard (the little button one that sits between buttons G,H,B). It's playing up and moving the curser around the screen. The pad is working fine. Is it possible to turn the center mouse off and keep the pad on? If so, how?

Go to Settings -> Control Panel

Click on System -> Hardware -> Device Manager

Click on Mice and other pointing devices. Right-click on the laptop mouse, and click "disable"

Under mice and other pointing devices, there is only one option - PS/2 Compatible mouse. And no option to disable, just uninstall.

You will have to take the system apart, and unfortunately that will void the Dell warranty.
