Default How to test ram

After alot of crashing and trouble shooting, I've determined that my problem is due to a faulty stick of ram that i bought. Its one of those Ultra 512 mb sticks that are always on sale at tigerdirect, anyways how do i test this stick of ram to make sure that this is the cause.
