Hi there,
I have just played a few films on my computer and i'm wondering if the funny blurrs in places was due to my graphics card playing up or bad film quality. Either way, my graphics card is fairly new so I would like to give it a test and make sure it's stable.
Is there a way to do this? A CPU stress test? i don't know what temperature it gets to but it's running in idle fairly hot so I'm a bit worried and want to test it. At the mo my ATI control center says:
Activity : 0%
Fan speed 24%
Temperature 47 degrees celc
My CPU according to everest is:
CPU: 26 degrees celc
CPU1/Core 1: 40
CPU1/Core2 :40
CPU1/Core3: 38
CPU1/Core4: 38
AUX : 59 degrees celc ( i'm a bit worried about this )
Is this normal for an I7 920 running just windows 7 pro and this google chrome screen?
I know it's not hot hot,.. but...
My room is getting really hot and has been doing since I got my PC. It's only on for about 4-5 hours a day and my room is roasting!
I'm at uni though and the heating is a bit wild
