I don't really understand what you are actually looking to do. You can create a new folder and stash it in there so you don't accidentally delete it. If you are formatting your drive and don't want to lose them just email them to another account like yahoo or msn. Yahoo will hold an email forever and you don't have to log in every 30 days like msn requires. Did this answer your question?
I just googled around for it. I also believe you can find put the emails you want to save in an outlook archive file and then find that folder in the program files and copy it to cd or whatever.
