how to reboot

hi all...

could some one please tell me how to reboot my computer?
my computer is running much slower than it use to - so would this help?
does rebooting mean your computer is completly erased and you can start again? like having a brand new one?

any info much appreciated.

Reboot means shut it off and turn it back on. If you dont understand the concepts, then I would not recommend you touching anything and bring it to a PC shop and pay someone to do it.

When you are done reinstalling Windows you will need to reinstall any device drivers that were not installed by the install and reinstall any programs and settings that you use/setup.

If you think you can tackle it then be my guest, however if you thought rebooting meant reinstalling Windows then I dont think you know what you are doing.

I am not trying to offend you, I want to make that clear and I am sorry if this is coming off that way. I am just looking out for your best interest.
