How much thermal grease?

Thanks everyone for your valuable input. As imachel suggested, a size of a rice does the job. I moved the HS around and the grease is nicely thin. Just perfect, better than using finger LOL.
 
Remember that you don't have to cover the whole IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader, the big flat silver top) because the actual die (part that generates heat) is directly in the center.

So, just put a small dab of grease in the center and plop the HSF down, that's it. Don't make it harder than it is.
