Yes for my surround... isnt that what you need to do? I want to make my surround work with my motherboard sound card... there is three jacks, Audio (Green), Line-In (Blue), Microphone (Red). And, I read on the site that I bought the motherboard that when you plug your speakers in the microphone, it will be the rear speakers. And, the audio will be the front speakers, and the Line-In can be the center and sub.

Well I plugged the damn thing in the audio and in the microphone... and its only the front thats works.

On NCIX, where I bought the motherboard. It's says:
Quote:
6 Channel Audio

The K8V-X uses an onboard Audio CODEC that lets you enjoy high-quality 6-channel audio without having to buy advanced sound cards.
EDIT:

Access the Audio properties... It has a Audio Profile setup that might help you out.

Nope... doesn't work. I think that my motherboard just thinks that it's a microphone... but, in reality its not!
