How do I set a samsung hd502ij to be a slave?

Sorry I figured out how to set slave and master for my parts.


I am now waiting on the dmi data pool thing problem, I don't know if it just stops there because it has a problem, or if it is just waiting for the OS.

Also, should my optical drive be a slave or a master?

channel 0 master = 250 gig hard drive
channel 0 slave = 500 gig hard drive
chanell 1 master = none
channel 1 slave = optical drive.

If there is nothing on the 2nd IDE Drive with the Optical Drive make it the master. The only time a device should be a slave is when there is already a master device on that same IDE cable.
