Default How to detect Harddisk badsectors and repair??

Hi Everyone ,

Actually how can i detect the harddisk badsectors

and is there anyway to repair the badsectors .Is there any tools

for that and how effective it will be .helping this issue will be very

much apprecited

Rightclick your hard disk in windows, click "properties". Look for scandisk in there. Bad sectors cannot be repaired, they can only be marked as such.
