My CPU (e6400), right now, posting just on this website, is at an astounding 57ºC Core 0 55ºC Core 1. Just sitting here, posting on GotFrag with ventrilo and mIRC open, and AIM in minimized to system tray. So, that's not good :] I have even put on Arctic Silver 5, and it's still at this temperature. I was thinking about buying this CPU fan, but even with what I have now (stock intel fan) I don't think it should be this hot...any ideas?
This is the CPU fan I am thinking about buying:
Newegg.com - ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - Retail

Would this fan solve ALL of my problems, or could it be something else?
The rest of my specs:
320GB Seagate 16MB HD
e6400 Intel core2duo
x1950XTX Sapphire Radeon 512MB
535W Enermax PSU

And it is not OC'd

Clean off your HSF again and try reapplying the thermal paste, maybe the first time was not done properly. Tidy up your wires to have better air flow, get some more fans to lower case temperature or get an aftermarket HSF.

Also the Arctic Freezer is a good cooler for a cheap price.

Oh, and for the AS5, you might want to check it to see if you did it correctly. If not, wipe the AS5 off with alcohol or nail polisher (I think those items are what to be recommended by the forumers) and re-apply it. It will probably take a week to burn it into the CPU. And get the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 as I suggested.
