Default Hook up case speaker on Asus A8N- sli Mb

how do i do it... i just cant get any beeps so im asking. i thought i knew but apparently after 2 mother boards i still have the same problems no beeps and no monitor screen. this is my first build so im proably doing something ****in stupid. help please

Connect it where it is circle (this is an Asus A8N E)
The + should be colored differently on the wire coming from the case speaker plug.

alright guys the speaker is hooked up fine and still no system beep. no nothing just fans running. cpu, video card, hardrive, power supply, everything works on other computers but nothing on my MB. does any one know how to help me?

Take the RAM out and see if the motherboard beeps.

Did you check the video card on another computer?

Please post exactly what you have so we can see if there is a conflict.

everything works i have a 6800gs video card. hitachi 80 HD, 512mb ultra 3200 overclocking ram, and 3200+ Amd 64 processor... and i dont get any system beeps no nothing just lights and fans.

Its either the PSU or motherboard.

Please post your PSU.

well guys it was the power supply a Ultra Xinfinity 500 w that was the cause of this problem
