Default Hissing Noise from the computer

Hi all, im having a bit of trouble with my computer as it seems. Hopefully somebody here can help me.

Whenever I play a large game, such as the Sims 2, or use a large amount of RAM with any program, a hissing noise (psssssss) comes from inside the shell of the computer causing my framerate to drop from a good 30-40 to 3-7.

Diagnosis?

Cheers,
sp0nge

Now to make sure I don't take out anything i'm not supposed to, can you tell me exactly where I should be looking for the RAM?

You should be looking here

For something like this.

I don't know what kind of ram you have, but if it's the more $$ stuff it might look something like this.

Pop open the case when you hear the sound, and try to pin it down, where exactly it is coming from.

Ok I took a photo of where I think it's coming from. It sounds like its coming from the motherboard :snob: or the GPU (which strangely does not have a fan)
