Default Hidden USB ports?

I have an old PC, Pentium 1 133MHz w/ 64MB RAM, it runs Puppy Linux. When I start it up, it says that there is 2 USB ports. The machine has no USB ports on the front or back. Is there a chance that the ports might be on the motherboard as pins and may be accessed by connecting ports to it?

Its possible, why not post you motherboard manufacture and model so we could give you a better ideal if it does or not. alot of motherboards have pins that usb ports can be wired to..

there is one number on the board, mb-8500tvd-a, a google search showed it might be a SMART motherboard. There are a few extra pins on the board

The PC runs Linux not any version of Windows. I got it from a friend and did not have a second copy of Windows 95 to install on it .
