Whats up guys im new to this forum and i have been reading it for a few months....

i have a problem tho i have just built a new comp.. witch i love i got a score on 3dmark05 of 9254! yay lol

but somtimes when i play a game like Farcry or Fear demo

i get this message!

"To protect your hardware from potential damage or causing a potential system lockup, the graphics processor has lowered its performance to a level that allows continued safe operations."

now this does not happin with games like painkiller UT2004 Half-Life 2..at all

what can i do??!! its probley my PSU help or give me suggestions to fix this prop i just spent 1,800 on my new comp and i dont know what to do...

otherthen that lil prop everything elsse is fine!

i believe that message is caused by overheating. monitor the temps. open the case and see if it still locks up with the case open

well im blasting a fan at it and i played farcry for 30min and i messsage is gone... can anyone recomend a good cooling solution?? i have liquid cooling but its only to my CPU should i get it for my GPU also?
