i bought a corsair value select 1gb sodimm 200pin and my sony vaio vgn-fs315e wont accept it, its the same spec a sodimm 200pin, it just wont go in the notches are fractuanally out

is it the same voltage rated? some dimms have the notch slightly left or right to indicate the voltage and stop you accidentally frying stuff.
