Help, something broke

One day i heard a loud noise and this piece of the motherboard broke off. My heatsink and fan are now held together by yarn lol , id like to see if there is anyway to get this part or any way to fix it. It's an intel mobo D865PERL

You can't replace parts of a socket far as I know.

You would probably have to replace entire motherboard.

Try google may find something but I doubt it.

but that retetion bracket is removable i am sure you can just find that part by itself or just get a heatsink that does not use the bracket.
