i have a philips srm 5100 usb ir receiver. It works perfectly when I plug it in when the computer is on. However, if it is plugged in when the computer is off and i boot up, the infrared receiver does not power up. I have to unplug it then plug it in again for it to work. How can I change the power settings for this device.
I have windows vista
there are no drivers that i can find
i could maybe change the setting for it in the bios screen
What should i do?
