Help with mouse

Guys i have a great comp, specs are in my signature, but i got a Razer Deathadder mouse and when i shake it back and forth, **** even move it at all my cpu usage jumps from 1 or 2 % to 70-100 %

it makes me so angry.... why does it do this, some of my friends have this mouse and a worse computer than mine and it doesnt do that. something must be wrong with my computer

Help me please =]
i dont want to pay Geek squad $150 lol

If u meen just sliding back and forth then check your hardware in Control panel and see if everything is alright.

what should i do in control pannel, more specifically

A mouse can increase your CPU usage...? Amazing. :shocked:

i found out it was my polling rate lolz
but its still unacceptable that its lagging my 3.2 P4....
