HELP! Laptop LCD cracked! Can't find a replacement online!

Hi. I have a Compaq Presario M2000 Laptop that I bought brand new in July. Today I accidently hit the screen and cracked the LCD. I went to a few computer shops and were charging decent for labor but a few hundred for a new screen. The problem is, it is hard to find a new one or even a refurbished one. I called Compaq and they said it would cost as much as a paid for the whole laptop($600) and the warranty that came with it is for everything except the LCD screen. Can anyone help me find any sites or anything that I can buy one. I have been searching but can't find anything. I'm trying to find the cheapest or at least any. Someone please help!? Thanks!

Call Compaq up thats all you need to do.

I did, it would cost around $700 to get a new one. I can get one from computer stores for like $400, but I'd like to find cheaper ones.
